Medical Interests

Honestly, my favorite part of being a pediatrician is helping families over the years and continuity with those families. I consider myself blessed to have followed with my families over the past decade at South Lake, having continuity of taking care of children across the range of ages as they grow.

About Me

Where is your hometown?

My family moved a lot growing up, but primarily Minnesota native overall.

Why did you become a pediatrician?

I wanted to help children, loved science, and wanted to make a difference.

How would your friends and family describe you?

My children consider me uncoordinated (too many concussions trying to learn to skate like my kids). 😊

When you are not working, what do you like to do for fun?

I have two young elementary school daughters. My interests honestly, are spending as much time with them as I can, enjoying experiencing things for the first time through them. As a family, we spend as much time traveling or at the grandparents’ cabin as we can.
