About Me
Where is your hometown?
Plymouth, MN
Why did you become a pediatrician?
I developed aplastic anemia when I was 6 years old and had a pediatrician in the hospital who was silly and wore fun hats. He made the whole process of being hospitalized not feel scary and overwhelming. I always wanted to be like him. I love caring for children and enjoy getting to be there to celebrate the good things in children’s lives and help them through the struggles.
How would your friends and family describe you?
Silly, sarcastic, family-oriented
When you are not working, what do you like to do for fun?
In my free time, I enjoy caring for my 5 children and watching them thrive in their own sports and activities. For myself, I like to read books, watch hockey, and exercise.
